In preparation for notarial acts, the parties should provide the notary with their identification details and the necessary documents. For real estate transactions (plots, apartments), the following are always required: the basis of acquisition (e.g. a notarial deed) and the land and mortgage register number. For cooperative apartments: the basis of acquisition (e.g. a notarial deed) and a certificate from the housing cooperative. Depending on the specific notarial act and its subject matter, the notary will indicate any further documents needed to prepare and sign the deed.
